Providing point-to-point high-speed links to distributed shared memory, Intel® QuickPath Technology unleashes the parallel processing performance of Intel® microarchitecture, codenamed Tukwila and Intel® microarchitecture, codenamed Nehalem. These microarchitectures are the first to use the Intel® QuickPath Interconnect system for significant improvements in overall performance.
